The dark sea shimmers
Like sheets of milk,
Adding salt to my abundant tears!
Everyone is speaking shrill;
But your silence
Rings in my inner ears!
Every singing cuckoo
Marks melody to the world,
Making more pronounced
My life’s jarring note!
Everyone is caring now;
But it’s your anger that
Soothes my nostalgic heart!
Every blooming Mayflower
Paints the world
In vivid hues,
Taunting my Life’s lifelessness!
Everyone is loving me; yet
Your absence singes
My lovelorn Soul’s sensations!
